We’re a virtual community of space pioneers, with members from all around the world. In 2020, we got a physical home near Loch Ness at Inverness in the Scottish Highlands. We haven’t found Nessie yet, but we’re still looking!!
The Highlands are home to three of the five Scottish space ports and home to one of Scotland’s first green freeports, Inverness and Cromarty Firth Green Freeport.
A Virtual Office, is a real place you don’t have to go to. It’s a legitimate business address that you can use on your biz cards, website and hell, why not put it on a carbon-neutral tote bag while you’re at it.
Both give you a prestigious business address but only one can be used to if you want to legally register your business in the UK. A Virtual Office is suitable for biz cards, websites and other promotional materials. You only need a Virtual Office with a Registered Address if you want to register your business in the UK at Companies House.
To keep things simple, all virtual office packages at International Space City can be used if you want to register a business in Scotland. That’s probably why we have only one package 🙂
When you’re comparing plans with other providers, keep in mind that you will need to provide photo ID – for a virtual office or for a registered address.
We’re licensed by the UK Government to provide virtual address services. Therefore, we are legally required to collect copies of one photo ID and proof of your home address from a utility bill for AML (Anti-Money Laundering) checks.
You will be asked to take a selfie with your ID (your face must be clearly visible). You can use a driving license, passport, or other Government-issued photo ID as proof of identification.
Please note, you cannot use the International Space City HQ address until AML checks have been completed.

Please note, that we are based in Scotland, so if you do register a business with Companies House, remember to choose ‘Scotland‘. You cannot use a Scottish address to register a company in England, Wales or Northern Ireland.

If you are a director of a registered company, you will need to provide Companies House with information about yourself, including your home and business address. You are permitted to use an address service for your business address. To do this, select the ‘Virtual Office with Registered Address’ plan.

Financial exclusion is a growing global problem. We believe people who pay monthly should not have to pay higher rates or additional fees in any transaction. This is why we make sure that we keep our rates low and affordable for everyone – monthly or annual.
Absolutely. Our virtual office with registered address is offered on a subscription basis so that you stay in control. When you choose a monthly or annual subscription, your account is set to expire or automatically renew on the same date each month or year. Simply cancel your subscription before your next renewal date.
Please note, that subscription fees are non-refundable so choose monthly or annual depending on your needs. There is no price difference between monthly and annual subscriptions. We do this to ensure there is no financial exclusion for people who need to pay monthly.
