Space Knowledge Summit 2023

What does a

world look like to you?

Space isn’t all rockets & astronauts. Wherever there are people there are communities and systems to help those communities stay happy, healthy and connected. We need people like you to think about what those communities and systems could be and in thinking about the future we may help solve some real world problems today.

Space Knowledge Summit is proud to be part of World Space Week (

Why attend?

Equal access to space needs equal access to decision making about the future use of space, the laws to govern and jobs to be created. We welcome participation from non-space and space industries to share ideas and experience. Join us for the first Space Knowledge Summit and help shape the future of space.

From Minecraft to Mordor, worldbuilding is not new for writers, gamers and artists. Share what you know with sociologists and urban planners and help pioneer the field of astrosociology.

What to expect.

The Space Knowledge Summit is made up of two parts: main stage discussions and individual booths in the virtual expo. There is also the opportunity to connect and join ‘speed networking’ sessions.

Virtual Stage

We discuss fresh ideas in space law, social impact and finance. Our mission is to normalise the sharing of knowledge to increase capacity building, widen participation and ensure equal access to space for all.

‘Share what you know’, is the heart of the Space Knowledge Summit. Each year we hope to share at least 1,000 case studies and videos to accelerate capacity building in emerging and non-space faring nations.

Call for speakers

Are you an aspiring leader with a big idea to share?

I’m not all sciencey and stuff, can I still speak?
Absolutely! We’re looking to widen participation in space – which means encouraging all the ‘non-sciencey’ people like you to get involved. Here’s a few examples of people we’d like to hear from: Creative Thinkers, Artists, Urban Planners, Sociologist, Game Makers, Lawyers, Entrepreneurs, Environmentalists, Crypto Current Specialist, Academics, World Builders…

What can I talk about?
The founding principle of outer space law is that everyone is entitled to equal access to the benefits of space. But, 95% of countries do not have independent access to space and so not everyone as equal opportunities to access these benefits. We’re looking for new thinking, big ideas and creative minds to share what you know and help shape the future of space.

I’m new to speaking.
Great!!! The Space Knowledge Summit is perfect if you’re new to conference speaking and want to gain experience in a supportive environment.

Can I be on a panel or is it a standalone presentation?
You can present, join a group discussion or maybe share a recorded video. However you choose to get involved, we hope you do.

Is this a paid speaking gig?
We do not pay speakers. We appreciate that asking you to speak for free is a bit cheeky. But, this allows us to keep the event free for all to attend and exhibit. Our goal is to widen participation and removing economic barriers helps us achieve this goal.

How do I register to be a speaker?
Send us an email with an outline of your talk/idea/discussion bebold[at]

Is there another way I can get involved?
Absolutely! Sign-up for a free virtual expo booth.

Your sponsorship helps keep registration free for all, fund future policy research and support the idea of normalising knowledge sharing. We couldn’t do this without your support. Whatever story you have to share, small or big, grab your free virtual expo booth and start ‘sharing what you know’. Together we can create a fair and equal space sector.
